Terms of Use

Last updated 15 September 2026.

Draft — pending legal review. This document describes how Nalaras actually works today and is published so the product's data handling is transparent. It has not yet been reviewed by a lawyer and should not be relied on as a final contract. If you need a signed agreement or a DPA before you can use Nalaras, write to security@nalaras.com.

1. Who we are and what this covers

Nalaras ("Nalaras", "we", "us") provides a project-operations service at nalaras.com. These terms cover your use of that service, including the web application, the client portal, and the integrations that connect Nalaras to third-party tools.

By creating an account or using Nalaras you agree to these terms. If you are agreeing on behalf of a company, you confirm you are able to bind that company.

2. Your account

You need an account to use Nalaras. You are responsible for what happens under your account, for keeping your credentials secure, and for the people you invite into your workspace.

You must be able to form a binding contract to use the service. You may not share a single account between multiple people — Nalaras is billed per user and every action is attributed to a real author.

You can end every other active session at any time from your account settings, and changing your password revokes them automatically.

3. Plans, trials and billing

Paid plans are billed per user, per month, either annually in advance or monthly. Current prices are on the pricing page. Paid plans start with a 14-day trial; no card is required to begin one.

People you invite into the client portal are guests, not users, and are not billed.

Payments are processed by Stripe. We do not receive or store your card details. You can upgrade, downgrade or cancel at any time from Settings → Billing. Cancelling stops future renewals; it does not refund the period you have already paid for, and you keep access until that period ends.

Some features are metered rather than unlimited — in particular AI actions. Each plan includes a monthly allowance and the application shows how much of it you have used. We may apply reasonable limits to protect the service.

4. Your data stays yours

You keep all rights to the content you put into Nalaras — tasks, comments, files, and anything ingested from your connected tools. We do not claim ownership of it.

We process that content only to provide the service to you: to display it, sync it with the tools you connected, route notifications, and run the AI features you invoke. We do not sell it, and we do not use your content to train models.

You can export or delete your data at any time. Deleting your account removes your workspace content on the timeline described in our Privacy Policy.

5. Integrations with other services

Nalaras can connect to GitHub, Slack, Trello, Notion and Asana. Connecting one is your choice and is authorised by you through that provider's own OAuth flow. The access tokens we receive are encrypted before they are stored.

When an integration is two-way, changes you make in Nalaras are written back to the connected tool. You are responsible for having the right to connect the repository, board, workspace or database you choose.

Those services are operated by third parties under their own terms. We are not responsible for their availability or for what they do with data you send them directly.

6. Acceptable use

Do not use Nalaras to break the law, to store or distribute malware, to infringe someone else's rights, or to attempt to access workspaces, accounts or data that are not yours.

Do not attempt to probe, scan or overload the service, circumvent rate limits, or reverse engineer it beyond what the law permits. If you find a security issue, tell us at security@nalaras.com rather than exploiting it — we will not pursue anyone who reports in good faith and gives us a reasonable chance to fix it.

7. Availability and change

We work to keep Nalaras available and monitored, but we do not currently offer a contractual uptime guarantee. Maintenance, third-party outages and incidents can interrupt the service.

The product changes. We add and improve features regularly — you can see what shipped on the updates page. If we ever remove something you depend on, we will give reasonable notice.

8. Suspension and termination

You can stop using Nalaras and delete your account whenever you like. We may suspend or end an account that breaches these terms, that is being used to harm other users or the service, or where payment has failed and stayed unpaid after we have asked.

Where the circumstances allow it, we will warn you before suspending an account and give you a chance to export your data.

9. Liability

Nalaras is provided as it is. To the extent the law allows, we exclude implied warranties, and our total liability to you is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim.

Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law. Nalaras is a coordination tool — it is not a backup service, and you should keep your own copies of anything you cannot afford to lose.

10. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as the product and the law change. If a change materially affects your rights we will tell you by email or in the application before it takes effect. Continuing to use Nalaras after that means you accept the updated terms.
